I want to still be objective therefore I ‘ll write every single details and you can make your decision of course.Īfter waiting for our two boats for a while. The reason why is the lack of professionalism of the manager himself. However this is not the reason why I am writing this review as I saw it as a minor mistake that was later fixed. Since we had a large group, the aquatic center employees had trouble 1)matching our faces to our names and ended mixing up two reservations because two brothers had the same last name and 2)differentiate between people who rented boats and those who rented Jet Skis. The reservation/30 mn orientation process was a bit messy and confusing to begin with. I will not be going back there and do not recommend it based on my experience here is why: I’ve been going to Deep Creek Lake with a large group of friends for the past 3 years, and this was my second time at the aquatic center. The staff was polite through the whole thing. Overall, we made due with the boat and had a good time. There also was a broken piece on the ladder which had the potential to easily cut someone's hand while entering the boat. I will comment the awning was torn and we had to rig up to prevent it from tearing further. The correct boat came back shortly and we were on our way. They offered me and extra 3 days free for the water tube which I was satisfied with. ![]() I expressed they were wasting the boating time of 6 people and that is worth something. Originally they apologized and told me it would be "soon". We waited over an hour before I went inside to complain. They told us it should be about 10-15 min. The bot we were to change to had already left. We were nice about it and drove right over there to make the switch. They called us about an hour later and told us to come back and switch it with the correct one. Unfortunately, they sent us out with the wrong boat. There was a little wait to pick it up which is to be expected. No clue how or why these people are in business with such awful boats and customer service (or lack of customer service) Additionally! The gas station said "oh you don't have a gas cap" when we pulled up for any question on whether we lost it or not :) Inspect your boat thoroughly before renting to prevent this happening to you. We tried to argue but they literally will not (1) listen to you nor (2) give you the time of day. They also charged us $35 for a lost gas cap that was not there to begin with. And the best part? We had a two day rental so after notifying them about the piece falling apart, they gave us the same boat the next day with one screw in it. Absolutely 0 care is given to the boat or the safety of its passengers. We lost a piece of the boat that was poorly screwed on while we were driving it which was extremely dangerously. You can have a perfectly chiseled nose face-on, but you don’t want to turn to the side and have a heavily contoured profile – it’s a total giveaway. ![]() The number one rule when it comes to contour is blending. However, if you want a subtler shadow, then just stick with a powder and skip the cream contour. The cream will create a base shadow and the powder will help blend the shades, so it looks more natural. Ashier tones will look more natural, so try and avoid anything with an orange undertone. Start with cream contour, followed by a powder – you can always use a dark brown eyeshadow or a contour palette, whatever you have to hand. If you layer your contour, you’ll help to enhance definition and balance out the symmetry of your nose. It’ll make your skin look ridiculously dewy. One of our favorite things about makeup is that it’s so versatile and it can completely alter the dimensions of your face. And if you’re really trying to glow like crazy, mix a few drops of face oil or liquid illuminator into your foundation before applying it to your skin. ![]() You don’t need to wear foundation in order to wear highlighter, but if you do like a bit of coverage, now would be the time to apply it. How to Highlight Step #2: Apply Your Foundation But just in case, let’s move on to step two… After all this skin TLC, you might even decide you don’t need steps two through five. If you’re a believer in makeup primers, pat on a thin layer of that, too. Keep it simple: Wash your face, swipe on an exfoliating acid toner (provided your skin isn’t super sensitive), and then apply a lightweight moisturizer that layers well under makeup. But don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be a whole 10-step thing. That said, the most important step in achieving healthy, hydrated skin is with proper skin prep. The whole point of highlighting is to make your skin look healthy and glowy-as if you actually drank your eight glasses of water a day. ![]() ![]() ![]() If you choose to do business with this business, please let the business know that you contacted BBB for a BBB Business Profile.Īs a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business.
